Skoda Superb
Skoda Superb
This is the first image Skoda has released of its all-new Superb, scheduled to be unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show in March 2008.
Skoda's flagship model is based on parent company Volkswagen's Passat architecture and is claimed to 'offer a generously-sized interior and a number of smart solutions' within the cabin. The second-generation Superb also takes some design cues from the Passat, including the front bumper clip, headlamps and door mirrors, to maintain the overall stance of its platform sibling. As the current generation Passat already borrows design cues from VW's range-topping Phaeton, the Superb also seems to be moving upmarket.
Power will likely be sourced from the same petrol and diesel engines used in next year's Passat models, and include a new common-rail diesel unit.
