Mercedes-benz Mobil Mewah terbaik Indonesia again has driven into the green movement and is proud to announce the availability of the 2010 Mercedes-Benz S400 and ML450 Hybrids. The 2010 Mercedes-Benz S400 Hybrid represents a departure from other hybrid models, specifically regarding pricing.
Most hybrid models carry a premium over non-hybrids in the lineup of vehicles, but not so with the S400 Hybrid. The entry level S Class comes in at $88,825, a price that undercuts the next least expensive S Class by $4,000. Unlike most hybrid models, the S400 comes with a lithium-ion battery that is small enough to fit into the engine compartment.
Due to its small size and engine compartment location, the battery does not rob interior or cargo space from the vehicle. Combined, the electric motor and gas-fed engine perform on par with the S550, which sports a much larger engine.
The ML450 is an all-wheel-drive vehicle with an electrically assisted V6 that generates V8-like power, but with better fuel economy. Combining a 275-hp, 3.5-liter V-6 with two electric motors in the two-modehybrid transmission, the powertrain delivers a total output of 335 hp and 381 lb-ft of torque.
The ML450 also boasts a bump in efficiency, bringing fuel economy to 21 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway, up from the all-wheel drive ML350's 15/20 rating and the 13/18 figure for the V8-powered ML550
